Individual Counseling

Finding the right support, at the right time in life, shouldn’t be a daunting task. Morgan is a relationship-first therapist, meaning she prioritizes connection and trust in the therapeutic relationship above any singular approach, tool, or theory, and strives to meet you where you’re at—whatever that might mean. In addition to building an intentional and therapeutic relationship with each client, Morgan’s work is grounded in mindfulness, self-compassion, attachment theory, IFS (internal family systems), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and somatic (body-focused) techniques for a holistic, mind-body balanced approach to therapy.

While Morgan primarily sees adults navigating trauma, OCD, anxiety, body-related issues, and major life transitions, she has diverse experience with clients of all ages and life experiences and welcomes consult calls to assess fit.

Morgan also enjoys working with mountain athletes who want a therapist that understands their lifestyle on the trail and beyond: from performance and mindset coaching, to body image and eating struggles, to navigating injury and burnout, and more. Morgan is an avid trail/ultrarunner as well as equestrian, and spent four years on the University of Georgia’s Division I NCAA national championship equestrian team. Her diverse experience as a competitive athlete lends a unique, holistic perspective to sport performance and health.
